Where eight years of retail planning experience meets the technical skill to build what's needed.
I spent eight years on the Merchandise Planning and Allocation side of retail, across every stage of the planning process, from initial assortment decisions through in-season inventory management, working inside the same systems and processes my clients use today. Along the way, I taught myself the technical skills to do something about what I saw: the manual work, the disconnected systems, and the tools that never quite fit the way the business ran.
In 2019 I taught myself VBA to rebuild a broken internal tool, and discovered that the most valuable thing I could bring to a planning team wasn't just better results, it was a better system for producing them. That realization led to a continued investment in data and analytics education, culminating in an Applied Data Science certificate through MIT Professional Education, and eventually a consulting practice built entirely around closing that gap.
What I deliver isn't off-the-shelf software adapted to your process. It's tools built from scratch around your process. That's a distinction that matters.
Advanced Excel modeling, full VBA development, ListObjects, UserForms, ribbon customization, and workbook architecture for enterprise-grade deployments.
Data analysis, automation scripting, ETL workflows, and statistical modeling. Used for development tooling and data pipeline work.
Database querying, data modeling, and integration with client data warehouses. Experience connecting Excel-based tools to live data sources.
HTML, CSS, JavaScript for fully self-contained web applications. Built for clients who need something beyond Excel but lighter than enterprise software.
Every engagement starts with discovery: mapping your current process in detail before a single line of code is written. The best tool is the one that fits your process, not the one that requires you to adapt to it.
Everything I build is designed to run without me. No ongoing license, no dependency on a third-party platform I control. When the project is done, the tool is yours. Completely.
If a custom tool isn't the right answer for your problem, I'll tell you. The goal is a solution that works, not a project for the sake of a project.
If you're dealing with a process that feels like it should be easier, let's talk about it.
